Our visits down to Gilesgate Sixth-Form Centre will be postponed this week, as it is half term. If you fancy coming along then do just get in contact; they really enjoy having the students there and getting an opportunity to work along side us

I would like to congratulate Hal Elston, who competed in the "Introduction to Mooting" workshop at Newcastle University last week. Hal won overall, and it seems the judges were very impressed with his overall skill (especially as he only had 24 hours to prepare!).
Again Hal, thanks

Following the general meeting, a new president will need to be elected for the Mooting Society.
Please submit your manifestos to ds-mootingsociety@durham.ac.uk before 7pm on 27/10/2009. These will be circulated and hustings will take place at our workshop on Tuesday 27th October at 7pm in CM101. (a week tomorrow). A secret ballot will follow the hustings and a new president will thus be elected.
